Transform Your Flatware into a Memorial Fishing Lure
Send DREMEWORKS your flatware, and we will transform it into an heirloom fishing lure. It is a wonderful way to repurpose your meaningful silverware into something truly special that keeps the memories alive. Even add personalized stamping or hand engraving to make sure it perfectly fits your story.
The fishing lure only uses the bowl of a spoon. I highly recommend adding other items to your order that can be made from the leftovers. You could have a keychain, overlap ring, coil ring, handle-chain bracelet, or handle pendant made from the leftover handle!

FAQ
FAQ
My spoon ring is too small or too big, what now?
If you want a quick fix and are somewhat handy, adjusting the size is really quite easy. To make a spoon ring bigger, you can hammer it down on a metal mandrel, expanding the ring as you tap it down. If you do not have a metal mandrel, you can take two pairs of pliers (preferably with tape around the jaws to prevent scratching), and firmly but slowly pull the ends apart until it fits as desired.
If your spoon ring is too big, the solution is easier. Simply take a rubber mallet and tape the ends of the ring close together. Make fine adjustments and keep checking the fit as you go.
If you would rather just send it back to be resized, you must cover shipping cost to me and I will resize and ship back at my own expense.
My guitar string ring is too big or too small, what next?
Guitar string rings cannot be resized, I must make new rings to the new size you desire. If you want a new ring in a different size, you must first ship the old ring back to me at your cost. Upon receiving the ring I will make you a new ring with the new size, at 50% of the cost of the original ring. Then I will ship the new ring back at my expense.
Can I send my own guitar strings or spoons/forks for you to make rings out of?
YES! In fact it will not even cost you anything extra so long as we communicate beforehand on the types of material you are sending me. Just contact me with what you desire and I will give you the next steps there :)

from 5288 reviewsThe jewelry is all beautiful! Everyone was very pleased. My only suggestion is to label the sizes. I ordered five rings with three different sizes. I was unsure of which ring was what size.
I wanted something unique for our 15th anniversary and having something made out of my own guitar strings was just that. I get asked about my rings often and it's one of the coolest things I own. I love it!
Great product. Unique, great customer service and excellent value
Absolutely love this product!!! For my husband for our anniversary! 5 stars and more!
Beautiful jewelry pieces made from my MIL’s silver flatware. I had pieces made for all of the granddaughters and daughters in law. Joey was very professional and accommodating in getting my pieces done quickly for a bridal shower gift for my niece. I had some shipping issues on my end and he was very understanding and made sure I got the pieces in time. Beautifully done keepsakes and treasures.
Fantastic gift item - would highly reccommend!
Great gift item - exactly as expected!
Beautiful! And it arrived quickly!
I received my ring today and I absolutely love it. it is exactly the unique piece of jewelry I was looking for, and it was sent super fast. Amazing seller to deal with.
Loved it, exactly what I expected.
Great customer service and was able to personalize the product. Fast delivery and good quality on edges of the spoon.
Great customer service and was willing to use personalize the product. Good quality and nice finishing work on the edges of spoon.
I ordered rings for all the females in my family using my mother’s silver. She passed away 3 years ago so I thought it would be a special gift. I will post more pics later, but I chose different silver pieces according to each individual’s build. My oldest daughter is quite petite so we used an olive fork. I think it looks perfect. Extremely quick turnaround, too!
I really like this unique ring.
I had very moist eyes when I saw this ring that was remade from Mom's old baby spoon from Community silverware (now Oneida). I love that the art decco design, which is subtle, was well preserved in the process. I was worried it would have been too thick to be a ring....but it is not...it is a heavy ring, but I love the way it looks. I also had a pendant made of the bowl from the spoon and sent in a stone on a chain to add to the bowl . Speechless! Everything looks perfect. Thank you Dremeworks! I am recommending you to everyone I know!!

I sent Joey a spoon that was very sentimental to our family in hopes that I could have a nice bracelet made for my mom. It was stainless steel and almost every other metal worker refused to work on it. At first, when he sent it back, I was unhappy because I hadn't specified exactly what I wanted and the design was not what I was hoping for. I reached out to him with my complaints and he was very happy to make it right. Luckily, he still had the scrap metal of what was left of the spoon and wound up designing the most beautiful bracelet I ever could've hoped for. It turned out better than I could've imagined and I couldn't be more grateful that Joey took to the time to make things right and truly craft something that will continue to live in my family for generations to come. Thank you so much!!
This is the second time I have ordered from Dremeworks. The necklaces are absolutely beautiful. They answer messages quickly and are so easy to work with. I highly recommend!
I thought I had already reviewed this item but apparently not! I sent my son's infant fork and spoon to be made into a ring and a pendant and they turned out perfectly! I had been thinking of doing this for a few years and finally just went ahead and ordered. Seller was great at communicating and shipped both items to me in a one day turnaround. USPS however sent it on a journey that baffled me but thankfully it finally did arrive. I couldn't be happier. If you have infant stainless flatware I would highly recommend using Dremeworks to turn your baby's flatware into treasures like he did for me.
I was very impressed with the seller and the entire process of transforming my grandmothers silverware into spoon rings for my daughters. I’m sure they will love them as much as I do. Seller was excellent at answering my questions promptly and items were received much quicker than I expected.
Joey was very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely do business with him again!
My ring turned out great given the condition of it originally.
This was the one and only piece found in the Hope chest of my aunt who never married. My grandmother bought it to get my aunt started on her marriage dowry. It sat there for 60 years! I’m so glad I found Dremeworks so that I could give this piece a new life. I had jewelry made for me and my sisters. Mr Kuhlow did exactly what I asked and was gracious when I had to make a couple of adjustments. They turned out beautifully.
My silverware was narrower than his images of what he normally uses to create his bracelets. He made adjustments and made a beautiful piece of custom jewelry. I would definitely recommend his work! He did an excellent job!
I had this ring made with spoon from a very important person in my life. I absolutely love it! Very fast service/delivery!
exactly what I wanted. I've been looking for a place to make a spoon ring out of my great grandma's Christmas cutlery that turns out is not silver. They made this process easy and had no trouble with the stainless steel spoon I provided. Now I have to get 3 more for the other great grandchildren. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I send my silverware to have it converted?
After you order, keep an eye out for an email from us that will be sent right away giving you final instructions and sending location for your memorial jewelry and keepsakes.
What if my guitar string ring doesn't fit?
As guitar string rings can't be resized, we offer a replacement service. Send back the ring to us at your cost, and upon receipt, we'll create a new ring to your desired size. This service costs 50% of the original ring price, and we'll cover the shipping of the new ring.
Can I adjust the size of my spoon ring at home?
Absolutely! If your spoon ring doesn't fit perfectly, here are two simple DIY fixes:
- To make the ring larger, tap it down onto a metal mandrel, expanding it gently with each tap. If a metal mandrel isn't available, use a pair of needle nose pliers (with tape around the jaws to prevent scratching) to gradually pull the ends apart until it fits.
- If your ring is too large, take a rubber mallet and tap the ends closer together. Remember to make incremental adjustments and keep checking the fit as you go.
If you'd prefer, you can send the ring back to us for resizing. You'll only need to cover the shipping cost to us, and we'll handle the resizing and return shipping.
How are Dremeworks pieces sustainable?
At Dremeworks, we use recycled and repurposed materials, such as guitar strings, spoons and forks for our creations, contributing to a healthier planet and adding a touch of history and uniqueness to each piece.
How do I care for my Dremeworks jewelry?
Our pieces are crafted to last, but gentle care can help prolong their beauty. Avoid exposing them to harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures, and gently clean them with a wire brush or steel wool when needed.
Can I send my own materials, such as guitar strings or spoons/forks for custom pieces?
Definitely! We love creating unique pieces from materials that hold special meaning for our customers.
